How it started...

At Bruinisse (Zeeland,the Netherlands), the old Mr. Padmos, father and grandpa of the present board of directors, founded a workshop for repairing engines and fishing winches for the mussel fishery in 1930.

The development and newbuilding of fishing winches followed.

After a while repair and renovation jobs were done on existing ships, which is still a general part of our job done by the company today.

Also winches and engines were installed on board of different vessels, with expansion of the yard as a result.

In Bruinisse a new factory was built in 1964, and again an expansion followed in 1968.
